Wailoaloa Beach is Nadi's premier tourist destination aside from Denarau Island. The recently opened Pullman Resort & Spa (Accor) along with Ramada Suites provides luxury hotel rooms; both hotels are a short walk from the house. Smugglers Cove Beach Resort and the Wailoaloa beachfront are located five plots down from the property (less than a minute walk); and three further backpacker hostels (Bamboo, Tropic and Travellers) ensure this is a vibrant beachside suburb.

All resorts in the neighbourhood have public beachside restaurants and bars and there are a further two independent restaurants at the Nadi end of Wasawasa Road as well as a mini supermarket and liquor store. Taxi stands and a regular public bus to Nadi Town make Wasawasa Road a very well connected community.

Also in the neighbourhood is the Turtle Airways seaplane base and 18-holes Nadi Airport Golf Club, both a five to ten minute walk away. Otherwise, this is a quiet suburb of Nadi, located along a dead-end road with no through-traffic. Nadi Town is a ten-minute drive to the south; whilst the international and domestic airport terminals are a ten minute drive to the north. The closest shopping centre is RB Patel, five minutes drive away, with a large supermarket, chemist, hot bread kitchen, cafés and cinema
